This process accurately quantify the volume of the sludge in the crude oil storage tank, To quantify and display sludge deposits in crude oil tanks thereby eliminating the major problem of manually quantifying the volume of sludge in the crude oil storage tanks

The acquisition on and deployment of this Automatic cleaning equipment will significantly increase safety in crude oil tank cleaning, and significantly reduce tank cleaning time and yield major cost savings to IOC.

CRUDE OIL SLUDGE RECOVERY AND MANAGEMENT

CRUDE OIL TANK SLUDGE RECOVERY AND RECYCLING: We prioritize recovering and recycling the crude oil from sludge. This approach not only promotes waste reduction but also allows terminals to reclaim valuable product, boosting overall profitability.

SLUDGE FLUIDISATION: The fluidize the sludge present in the storage tank. This is usually done by adding a sludge fluidizing agent, such as steam, water, or chemical additives, cutter stock to the tank. The fluidizing agent helps to break down the sludge, making it easier to remove.

MIXING AND AGITATION: Once the sludge fluidizing agent is added, it is important to mix and agitate the sludge thoroughly. This can be done using mechanical mixers or by recirculating the fluidizing agent to create turbulence and enhance the sludge fluidization process. The agitation helps to loosen and dislodge the solid sludge deposits, allowing them to be easily removed.
