Workforce is dominated by the indigenes of host communities where we have operations and from the Nigerian populace in general. Specific types of works are given to local subcontractors to the maximum extent possible. Our Nigerian Content strategy is to maximize use of locally manufactured goods and services in all our operations. We believe it is possible to achieve the Nigerian Content targets and Goals of the Nigerian Government through sincere commitments

HUMAN CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

Training and retraining of man power is a culture inherent in Matong Energy Limited. Annually, Matong Energy Limited trains many Nigerians in different areas of technical endeavor. Matong Energy Limited is also supporting the training of Nigerian graduates in engineering, QA/QC and Project Management through the Nigerian Content Human Capacity Development Program during execution of her projects. Skills and technology transfer to Nigerians is part of what Matong Energy Limited is doing in Nigeria. We build capacity of Nigerians with emphasis on Host Community and Nigerian subcontractors.
